Description of the Event:

Join us for a popular early summer tradition – the Ann Arbor Garden Walk™, presented by Ann Arbor Farm & Garden. This event attracts more than a thousand people each year and has earned iconic status among garden enthusiasts across the region. The 2017 Ann Arbor Garden Walk will feature six private gardens on Saturday, June 10, 2017 from 10 am to 4 pm.

This year, the Walk features gardens that are relatively small in size but big on beauty. A
Japanese teahouse garden, waterfalls and ponds, unique paving and hardscaping, and stunning collections of perennials, specimen trees, and native plants will offer gardeners both old and new a wealth of ideas and inspiration.

Special this year, two homes on the Walk will invite visitors inside to experience their gardens from indoors. One of the homes is an 1891 ‘painted lady’ Victorian in the Kerrytown area, full of extraordinary antiques.

A tempting variety of perennial plants, unique garden art, and handcrafted merchandise will be offered at the Garden Walk Marketplace, located this year on the grounds of St. Andrew’s Church, 306 N. Division Street. A portion of Marketplace sales are donated to the event proceeds.

Proceeds from the annual Garden Walk benefit local nonprofit horticultural and environmental organizations and projects, such as school and community gardens, natural areas restoration, and beautification. A list of past Garden Walk recipients is available on our website.

Advance tickets are $15 and can be purchased:
• Online at our website May 1-June 1 (PayPal only, postage fee added)
• At these retailers May 5-June 9: Dixboro General Store, Downtown Home & Garden*, Matthaei Botanical Gardens, and Mast Shoes. (*credit cards accepted)

On Garden Walk day, Saturday, June 10, tickets are $20 and can be purchased only at the garden locations. K-12 student tickets are $3 and available only at the gardens on Garden Walk day.
