This five week long workshop will help you gain a stronger understanding of composting, sustainable organic waste disposal and the science of soils and the essential nutrients that feed our gardens.

A team of certified Master Composters, Master Gardeners and an MSU Extension expert will conduct the classes.

Master Composter Certificate earned after completing the class, a take-home exam, and ten hands on volunteer hours.
