Description of the Event: Established in 1893 as a man-made formal pond in Ypsilanti's Prospect Park and converted to a native plants garden in 2008, this quarter-acre space provides vital habitat for wildlife and is a destination for many in the community. This annual fall cleanup is intended to remove invasive species, maintain pathways, and remove trash. Wheelbarrows, shovels, pitchforks, rakes, and pruners are especially needed. All skill levels are welcome! Pictures are available.
