Mary MARY WILSON- GARDEN SIZED TREES AND SHRUBS FOR SE MICHIGAN
Evenings in the Garden is a lecture series on a wide range of gardening and environmental topics hosted by regional experts.
Gardeners are often overwhelmed by the plethora of plants available online and at garden centers. Join Mary to explore an array of superior trees and shrubs that are adaptable to difficult conditions in our gardens. Examine plants that perform well in sun/shade, wet/dry soils, clay/sand and are less prone to pest issues. Many of these options even sport ornamental features to add “bling” to our gardens. Whether it’s multi-seasonality, flowers in shade, breathtaking bark, colorful stems, winter blossoms, brilliant fall color, wildlife resistance, or attracting pollinators, you’ll be sure to discover plants that thrive in your Southeast Michigan gardens. Warning: This program may trigger your Compulsive Horticulture Acquisition Disorder (CHAD)!
