Description of the Event: This program is about how homeowners can have a green, healthy lawn, but also reduce the amounts of fertilizer and weed control used, sometimes eliminating weed control altogether. it explains soil biology, how grass, plants grow, proper cultural practices. It also informs homeowners that prefer to have a lawn service about the Michigan green Industry Assoc. industry sponsored program of companies who follow the guidelines of Healthy Lawn Program for Watershed Protection.
