Description of the Event:
Herbs provide beauty and fragrance in the garden, abundant flavor in your kitchen and often look just as nice as flowers. If you're just beginning with an edible garden or edible landscape, herbs are a great place to start! Most herbs are easy to grow, whether in beds, borders, containers or on windowsills. Plus, once planted, they require little care besides watering and harvesting. Come learn how easy it is to grow fresh herbs of your very own.
The class will cover:
- Choosing a healthy plant
- Hardening off
- Proper transplanting
- Fertilizer and water
- Pruning and pinching
Cost $30
Registration is done through Mott Community College in Lapeer.

Walk-in – Visit our office located at 550 Lake Drive, Lapeer – Room B218. You can enroll by credit card or check (made payable to: Mott Community College).
NOTE: Classes with insufficient enrollment will be canceled three days prior to the class start date.
