Description of the Event: 

Help us raise money for the NEW Bat Zone and support the Organization for Bat Conservation who takes care of the 250+ animals at their sanctuary. Goldner Walsh Garden & Home welcomes Rob Mies, internationally recognized bat expert, author and TV personality, as he presents a Live Bat Encounter.

His presentation with feature bats from around the world, including the Malayan flying fox (biggest bat in the world) with a 6-foot wingspan! Also, enjoy the sunset and native insect-eating bats flying around as Rob shows first-hand how scientists study these amazing nocturnal creatures. Rob will also be on hand to autograph his books and field guides (available for purchase at the event).

General admission: $10.00  Tickets are available for purchase on the website.
