Description of the Event:
East Rockford Middle School Earth Keepers are taking on their 3rd native restoration project in downtown Rockford! Starting in 2015, these Rogue River stewards have been converting lawn grass and invasive species to native gardens that help manage polluted stormwater runoff and support biodiversity. Work alongside these young environmental leaders to plant native species or just check us out on your stroll down the White Pine Trail to learn more! Show your support for projects like these that are investing Great Lakes Restoration Initiative funds into the Rogue River and its communities.
