The Michigan Conservation Stewards Program and local Washtenaw County conservation partners are hosting a program featuring author and Michigan Natural Features Inventory Ecologist Josh Cohen, who will share a photo tour of Michigan's natural communities. From the Bogs and Muskegs of the north to the Sand Dunes fringing the Great Lakes, each landscape has a unique assemblage of species. For 17 years, Josh has hiked, climbed and photographed these ecosystems to help naturalists, botanists and conservationists learn about the vast diversity of ecosystems in our state.
There is no cost to participate in this program, however, advanced registration is required.
Please note: participants are responsible for paying for parking in the Bontaican Gardens parking lot.
Education Credit Hours: Michigan Conservation Stewards advanced training hours are available for this educational event.
